Corporate Social Responsibility
Through sponsorship activities with a sustainability focus, the Bank contributes to initiatives in the fields of environment, education, culture, sports, and technology. Supporting young people is also one of the key components of Ziraat Katilim's understanding of social responsibility.
Ziraat Katilim, with its approach centered on responsibility towards society, contributes to numerous social projects through sponsorships and donations and aims to create lasting value for society through these efforts. Through its support for the environment, education, cultural values, and future generations, the Bank fulfills its responsibility towards the country and humanity. In 2025, within the scope of corporate social responsibility activities, Ziraat Katilim made 7 donations, provided 17 sponsorships, and organized 75 events.
Ziraat Katilim Social Clubs
Ziraat Katilim continued its thematic club activities in 2025, which were established to support employees' social interaction and healthy lifestyle habits. In this context, the Bank encourages employees to participate in corporate and social activities through the Cycling, Chess, and Volleyball clubs.
A volleyball tournament was organized with the participation of employees in order to strengthen internal solidarity.
Cycling Club activities continued throughout the year. Ziraat Katilim was the main sponsor of the 12th Yesilay Cycling Tour organized by Yesilay (The Green Crescent), which operates to combat addictions and raise awareness of healthy living, and supported the tours held simultaneously in 81 provinces within the scope of the organization. In addition, club members regularly participated in the Caddebostan and Historical Peninsula tours organized by Yesilay every two weeks.
The Cycling Club also took part in the bicycle tour themed "Pedal for Freedom", organized in memory of the July 15 martyrs in cooperation with the July 15 Association and the Turkish Cycling Federation.
Culture of Sharing, Volunteering and Solidarity
Ziraat Katilim Vefa Group
Ziraat Katilim Vefa Group was established in 2020 under the roof of Ziraat Katilim as a volunteer-based social initiative. As of 2025, the Group continues to strengthen social solidarity through the activities it carries out. The Vefa Group was formed on the basis of a culture of sharing and continues its activities in line with Ziraat Katilim's "More as We Share" approach.
Ziraat Katilim Vefa Group operates as a structure that promotes volunteering among employees. In cases of natural disasters or difficult situations that may occur locally or nationwide, such as accidents, fires, serious illnesses, or loss of life, the Group provides support to those in need at the time of hardship. The Vefa Group also assumes responsibility in adverse situations that employees or their families may face.
The Vefa Group carries out support activities for people, animals, and the environment. Suggestions received from those in need, volunteers, and members of the Vefa Group Committee are evaluated, and projects considered appropriate are implemented. In 2025, Vefa Group volunteers organized four visits to Dar"laceze. During the Week of Persons with Disabilities, a bookbinding machine was donated to the Fasl-i Bahar Accessible Qur"an Course affiliated with the Presidency of Religious Affairs to be used in the printing of the Qur'an in Braille alphabet. During the program, volunteers also met with visually impaired students.
On 3 December, International Day of Persons with Disabilities, a sign language awareness training was organized to strengthen communication with individuals with hearing impairments. During the training, volunteers were informed about communication barriers encountered in daily life and ways to overcome them, and basic sign language skills were shared through interactive practices. As part of the activities carried out in the field of education, school uniforms were provided to 90 students studying at Mardin Bah'elievler Primary School, and Siirt/Sirvan Incekaya Secondary School was renovated with the support of the Vefa Group.
In 2025, a total of 1,127 books, 71 computers, and 16 printers were donated to schools. The donated books were selected from works recommended by the Turkish Language and Literature Association.
The Vefa Group, which has completed its fifth year, continues its activities with a focus on volunteering and solidarity. In 2025, a total of 73 different topics were evaluated in 7 meetings, ensuring the planning and monitoring of social impact-oriented activities.
Ziraat Katilim Memorial Forest
Ziraat Katilim has contributed to its volunteering and solidarity activities carried out with a focus on the culture of sharing through sapling donation initiatives in previous years. In 2024, the Bank initiated efforts to establish the Ziraat Katilim Memorial Forest with the aim of creating environmental and social impact.
In 2025, the Ziraat Katilim Memorial Forest Project was expanded as part of the 10th anniversary of the Bank's establishment. Considering the environmental damage caused by forest fires in recent years, the project aimed to contribute to afforestation activities and to increase environmental awareness. Acting together with employees with a sense of social responsibility, a total of 30,000 saplings, 10 for each employee, were planted in Ballica, Pendik / Istanbul. The project was implemented through donations within the framework of the process carried out in cooperation with the General Directorate of Forestry.
Employee participation in the project was encouraged through visual e-mail announcements. Ziraat Katilim employees and their families took part in the planting activities. Approximately 200 participants were involved in the project, which was carried out in line with the principles of employee volunteering and solidarity.
Civil Society Organizations
Projects are carried out in various fields in cooperation with many civil society organizations, particularly the initiatives of Yesilay, one of the leading non-governmental organizations in Türkiye working in the field of combating addiction.
Support for Youth in Technology and Innovation
Ziraat Katilim considers enabling young people to gain competencies in technology and innovation as an important part of its approach to social contribution. In this regard, the Bank supports the participation of young people in technology, entrepreneurship, and innovation-oriented activities through its support for platforms such as Icathane, Teknofest, and the Türkiye Entrepreneurship Awards. These efforts allow young people to engage with production processes at an early stage and gain experience in innovative fields.
Türkiye Youth Foundation • ICATHANE Project
Ziraat Katilim provides sponsorship support for the ICATHANE Project in cooperation with the Türkiye Youth Foundation. The project offers hands-on learning opportunities in the fields of technology and innovation for middle school and high school students. Through coding, robotics, and design workshops, young people are supported in engaging with technology-based production processes at an early stage.
Teknofest
Ziraat Katilim provided sponsorship support to Teknofest in 2025. This organization, which aims to contribute to Türkiye's National Technology Initiative, serves as a strong platform that encourages young people to engage in science, technology, and innovation. Activities carried out within the scope of the festival enable young people to develop technology-oriented projects, engage with creative thinking, and gain awareness of future professions. Ziraat Katilim's support for Teknofest is among the social contribution efforts that strengthen young people's interaction with the technology and innovation ecosystem.
Türkiye Entrepreneurship Awards
Ziraat Katilim participated as a Platinum Sponsor in the 12th GIV Entrepreneurship Awards, held as part of the Türkiye Entrepreneurship Meeting • From Idea to Venture 2025 organized in 2025. The program, organized by the Entrepreneurial Businessmen's Foundation (GIV), provides a platform that brings together entrepreneurs' innovative ideas and projects with investors and strengthens interaction within the entrepreneurship ecosystem.
Within the program, entrepreneurs from universities, Technopark's, start-ups, and R&D centers have the opportunity to present their projects, while creating a platform for sharing and evaluation where representatives from the public sector, private sector, and academia come together. Ziraat Katilim's contribution to the program is among its corporate social responsibility efforts that support the development of the entrepreneurship ecosystem and enhance the visibility of innovative business ideas.
Contribution to the Preservation of Cultural Heritage and Support for Traditional Arts
Ziraat Katilim considers the preservation of cultural heritage and the continuation of traditional arts as an important part of its corporate responsibility. Projects implemented to transfer historical values to future generations, to keep cultural richness alive in social memory, and to support art reflect the cultural dimension of the Bank's sustainability vision. Activities carried out in this context both increase the accessibility of historical heritage by utilizing the opportunities of digital transformation and strengthen the visibility of traditional arts.

Digital Istanbul Project
Ziraat Katilim provides strategic support to the "Digital Istanbul" project carried out by the Istanbul Governorship. The project enables fast and easy access to accurate and up-to-date information on registered cultural assets in Istanbul. The application was initially launched with 200 mosques and has been expanded over time to cover 603 mosques and 225 historical tombs.
Information on the construction year, patron, architect, and prominent architectural features of cultural assets is provided through a QR code system. The system is compatible with all smart devices, and content is prepared in five languages: Turkish, English, German, Russian, and Arabic. "Digital Istanbul" contributes to the preservation of cultural heritage in the digital environment through a smart city approach and supports the transfer of historical values to future generations.
"Adil-i Mutlak" Calligraphy Exhibition
Ziraat Katilim supports the promotion and preservation of calligraphy, one of the most established branches of Islamic art. Cultural and artistic activities organized in this context contribute to the aesthetic and spiritual enrichment of society.
The "Adil-i Mutlak" themed Calligraphy Exhibition, opened to visitors at Ziraat Kuleleri in 2025, brings together 13 works consisting of verses centered on the theme of "Justice." The exhibition features both classical and contemporary interpretations by Savas 'evik, Abdurrahman Depeler, Davut Bektas, and Sahryansah Siracuddin, offering art enthusiasts a rich perspective.
Visitors have the opportunity to closely examine the works reflecting the aesthetic refinement and spiritual depth of calligraphy and to explore the artists' interpretations in greater detail. Ziraat Katilim continues to support cultural heritage and promote traditional arts.
